The role reports directly into the VP Creative Director with the aim to strengthen and offer clear direction for all women’s lifestyle product within the brand. You will lead and inspire a team of footwear designers and oversee the creative teams across material, colour and technical specs, bringing the overall brand vision to life!
This is an incredibly high profile position with an ever-progressing business, so the ability to change and adapt with the needs of the business is pivotal. The ideal candidate will have the following
*Degree educated in Design or equivalent experience in a related area.
*10+ years design and development experience within footwear development, focused on womenswear
*Critical skills in “shoe-making” covering various construction methods, including last development
*Strong team management experience
*Strong computer skills. Adobe Illustrator, Excel, Word and Photoshop.
*Strong ability to adhere to deadlines. Delivers accurate data on-time and in-full.
*Advanced knowledge of fit/construction and costing.
*Excellent written and oral communication
*Advanced product knowledge and knowledge of global markets and competitors.
